A gorgeous New Zealand summer wedding at Mudbrick Vineyard, that became an unforgettable trip to one unforgettable place.
Have you ever been to New Zealand? It’s become one of my most favourite places in the world for many reasons. The people there are so friendly, the wine is incredible (obviously) and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. When we received the opportunity to photograph a wedding on Waiheke Island, I began to dream about their never-ending sunsets immediately.
I met Jagoda and Cameron back in 2015 and we bonded right away. Traveling across the globe to photograph these two wed was such an honour and an opportunity I will never forget. Destination weddings, to me, are full of colour, vibrancy, curation, and energy. I am in full discovery mode when I photograph in a foreign space and my creative fire builds throughout the entire day.
Jagoda and Cameron got married at Mudbrick Vineyard; a gorgeous plot of land that overlooks the ocean and Auckland’s skyline. They were surrounded by amazing friends and family who all traveled from Australia, Poland, and Canada to join in on the celebrations. One of the beautiful aspects of New Zealand is that the sunset seems to last for hours. The light just wraps around everything and intensifies the surrounding nature. Needless to say, a photographers dream!
