Pemberton Outdoor Wedding

There is nothing quite like a Pemberton outdoor wedding surrounded by epic mountain views and an open valley. It was a hot summer day in July, dogs and children were running about and the Collective Kitchen was grilling up their divine food. A true backyard style wedding that had all the intimacy and comfort going for it.

Pemberton has some of the most scenic mountain views I’ve ever experienced. With the valley being wider it allows for locations such as this gorgeous private residence to be surrounded by BC’s stunning backdrop. This was exactly what Jess and Mike were hoping for when choosing their wedding venue. They wanted their guests to feel all the natural beauty that this incredible place has to offer.

This wedding had so many beautiful yet simple details. During the ceremony, the bride and groom wanted to do a toast right after signing the marriage documents and they walked up the aisle with their cocktail of choice! Rustic boards of charcuterie were set up for cocktail hour with a friend playing piano in the background. Everyone was soaking up the sun and taking in the day. Breathtaking views and good company, what more do you need?

All the guests camped or stayed in the custom tents provided by the property owners. Tiki torches and twinkle lights lit up the various areas for guests to find their way about. DJ Foxy Moron had everyone dancing under the stars and you could see the outline of the mountains lit by the light of the moon.

I love outdoor wedding venues because as the guests explore the property I can follow their lead and document them candidly. While focusing on connection and all the in-between moments, this laid back Pemberton outdoor wedding suited this couple best. Here are a few highlights from Jess and Mike’s intimate wedding.
