A Squamish Outdoor Wedding Venue
As a Squamish wedding photographer I have the privilege of photographing at some incredible wedding venues. Sunwolf holds a special place in my heart as my husband and I got married there back in 2017. It’s a gorgeous piece of land situated on two rivers with quaint cabins and ample amounts of property to roam. A perfect spot to disconnect with technology and reconnect with nature.
Outdoor wedding venues are some of my favourite to photograph. They offer a blank canvas for guests to mingle and explore. It allows a natural flow between the wedding events and gives me the opportunity to document candidly. Most of my couples fall in love with the in-between candid moments most. Those moments really make you feel the story and give you a glimpse of a perspective of the day you may not have seen.
when nature is your wedding venue
SUNWOLF highlights natures beauty so perfectly. I love photographing weddings in Squamish, because the trees are so unique compared to the rest of the Sea to Sky. The canopy of trees at Sunwolf’s property offer stunning shade on a hot summer’s day, and in the fall they turn a beautiful yellow that is equally as breathtaking. A&J’s guests wandered the property, soaking in the riverside views and the privacy this venue has to offer. It’s no surprise that Sunwolf is one of the top wedding venues in all of Squamish!
to shot ski or not to shot ski?
The Sea to Sky Corridor is known for it’s mountains and with any mountain culture there are shot skis. If you are unsure of what a shot ski is keep scrolling! A&J love a good party and they knew they wanted to incorporate some fun into their wedding reception at Sunwolf. Shot Skis are a great way to introduce speeches, gather people together, and create some really fun photographic moments. If you are looking to create unique ways to bring the party into your celebration, chat with your planner and discuss all the endless options!
