To be a Whistler wedding photographer over the last few years have brought me and my camera to some incredible places. This doesn’t even mean from a travel perspective, but more of an emotional perspective too. Stepping into the lives of many strangers with the ability to witness intimate and impactful moments is a true honour. I wanted to celebrate this past year by putting together a blog post that reflects on the things I have seen and experienced. A list of favourites if you will, but trust me this was no easy task. What I get to do for a living, is well… pretty darn awesome.
This post is extensive and took a while for me to put together. Images chosen are based on a feeling. It could be the light, subject matter, or simply the emotion I felt when documenting that fleeting moment. I wanted to showcase not only my wedding photography, but a variety of portrait sessions as well as some of my travel work. 2015 was another incredible year and I am beyond grateful to be able to document people’s lives in such an intimate way. From photographing Whistler weddings and families, to touring the streets of San Francisco, this reflection has brought me great joy.
Please take the time to scroll through this very long blog post. It highlights a variety of Squamish and Whistler wedding venues, outdoor Sea to Sky engagement photography locations and candid Whistler family photo sessions. If you are looking to book a portrait session in the Sea to Sky area please connect so we can chat about your vision for photography! Thank you to all my amazing clients who put their trust in me and my camera and to all of those who support my crazy endeavor.
CHEERS to 2016!
